We use wedge windows to eliminate the second side reflection (double image), it also can be used in coating substrate of interferometer flats, laser cavity mirrors and beam splitters.

Both surfaces of the wedge windows are needed to be polished to lambda/10 flatness which is equal to a laser grade. They are used in situations that beam reflected from the second surface will interfere in the correct operation of the optical system.

It is smart to use wedge windows whenever ghost images will cause glare or while using laser system or interferometer.

Four different wedge angles are offered and the wedges can be chose to suit different applications.

angle a=1deg         tolerance+/-3arcmin

angle a=2deg         tolerance+/-3arcmin
